The Pathfinder Society in Varisia is run from Heidmarch Manor in the Alabaster District, by Sheila Heidmarch. it is focused on exploring the many ruins of Ancient Thassilon, and uncovering the secrets of the ancients.
|Just browsing. Get a +10 circumstance bonus on any Knowledge (Geography, Local, Nature or History) skill check by spending a day browsing the library. You may take 10 on the check if you have the skill. You may make checks untrained.
|Common Arcane Scribe I. You can transcribe a copy of a single common arcane spell of up to third level into your spellbook. No deciphering or Spellcraft checks are necessary. Takes one day.
|I'll bring it back. Borrow a (non charge) magic item for a week. Costs 1PP per 1,000gp cost of the item. Assumes they have it available. May be based on expected risk.
|Spell Arcana I. You can transcribe a copy of a single uncommon arcane spell of up to third level into your spellbook. No deciphering or Spellcraft checks are necessary. Takes one day. If you are a sorcerer, bard or similar arcane caster, you can instead select it as a known spell at the next opportunity.
|Student. With a week of study, you can gain a specialisation in one of the following Knowledge skills: History, Geography, Nobility, or Engineering. You may take this once with each of the different skills, as long as you already have points in it.
|Hirelings. The Society will lend you the aid of up to 2d4 hirelings. They will be a mix of experts, commoners and warriors (your choice) to aid you on your travels for up to a month. Getting them killed may prevent you from taking this option again. Given a week of warning, the society can ensure that they have skills suited to the task you have in mind, and the number becomes 1d4+4. They will be 1st level, or 2 levels lower than you, whichever is higher.
|Common Arcane Scribe II. You can transcribe a copy of a single common arcane spell of up to sixth level into your spellbook. No deciphering or Spellcraft checks are necessary. Takes one day.
|Join the Pathfinder Society. You may join the Pathfinder society. You must have already returned information on at least three sites of interest before taking this option.
|A good education. Spend a month studying to gain ability score training in Intelligence. The cost is 6 PP per point needed to raise your ability score.
|Craft Magical Item I. Purchase an item made by a 5th level caster. Cost is 1PP per 1000gp of the item (or part), plus the cost of the item.
The Pathfinders are interested in obtaining samples of certain creatures. Bringing the dead corpse of an Aberration, Magical Beast or Outsider in good condition will grant a reward.

The base reputation gained is 1 / 6HD or part of the creature. They are especially interested in creatures of Thassilonian origin, so will pay double (Price and XP) for these, as well as reward +1 reputation.
They are only ever interested in one of each type of creature. Further samples of the same creature will not grant any reward.
