ESU Fleet
The ESU prefers long ranged weapon systems over other forms of combat. Fleet doctrine is to provide large amounts of support for their capital ships, in the form of cruiser class vessels equipped with shorter range weapons, leaving capital ships to focus on, often spinal mounted, long range beam and torpedo weapons.

Cossack Strike Boat
Class: Strike Boat (SB)
Mass: 14
Points: 49
The Cossack class is a fast, fragile ship designed to get in fast, deliver it's payload and get out again as quickly as it can. Equipped with 5 submunition packs, it is a single shot mobile launch platform designed to take on small to medium sized vessels. Due to its fragility, it normally keeps out of combat until the enemy is already engaged, forcing them to decide between destroying the short term threat of the strike boat or taking on longer term threats of larger vessels.
Poryshkin Corvette
Class: Corvette (CT)
Mass: 18
Points: 60
Equipped with two class 2 beam weapons, the Poryshkin has considerable weapon range for its ship class. It is designed to combat other small vessels from behind the 'line of battle'. It is susceptible to fighter attack however, and general orders are to seek cover under the protective aegis of escort cruisers if fighters are coming their way.
