Settlement Rules
The size of settlement determines what items are present. The actual contents that a settlement has for sale can be generated using this generator.
Item Turnover
Items available in any given settlement change on a Moonday. How quickly they change depends on the type of item and the size of the settlement.

For fortnightly checks, check on the 2nd and 4th Moonday of a month. For monthly checks, check on the first Moonday of the month.
Minor Items
Roll a d4. On a 1, remove the first item. On a 4, add a new item.
For each item, roll a d4 for chance of change.
Medium Items
Roll a d8. On a 1, remove the first item. On a 8, add a new item.
For each item, roll a d8 for chance of change.
Major Items
Roll a d20. On a 1, remove the first item. On a 20, add a new item.
For each item, roll a d20 for chance of change.
